King and Queen of Nigeria’s Warri Kingdom Visit Museum of Tolerance Jerusalem on October 7 to Honor the Victims
Ogiame Atuwatse III, King of the Warri Kingdom in Nigeria, and his wife visited the Museum of Tolerance Jerusalem today, Wednesday, October 7, as part of their visit to Israel.
During their visit, the King and Queen toured “06:29: From Darkness to Light,” an exhibition dedicated to the events of October 7 that tells the stories of those who were murdered, survivors, and hostages. Through the testimonies and stories presented in the exhibition, the couple vicariously experienced the horrors of October 7 through the personal stories of those whose lives were forever changed, as well as the attack’s ongoing impact on Israeli society.
Their visit to Israel is part of an international delegation organized by Eagles’ Wings, led by Bishop Robert Stearns, which has brought more than 550 Christian leaders from 51 countries to Israel. Taking place during the week marking three years since October 7, the delegation includes church leaders and senior representatives from around the world.
During their time in Israel, members of the delegation are meeting with Israeli representatives, IDF and Ministry of Foreign Affairs officials, religious leaders, released hostages, and bereaved families, with the aim of gaining a firsthand understanding of the reality in Israel three years after October 7.
The delegation includes representatives of communities and networks that reach tens of millions of believers around the world. Alongside the Nigerian delegation, Christian leaders from the Philippines, Costa Rica, Brazil, and other countries also participated in the visit.
